CLIENT AGREEMENT

this agreement is made between jade waterman / jadedoes.design, “designer”, and “client” on the specified date entered on the form below.

scope of work

designer agrees to provide design services as described in the proposal, quote, or “project” discussed and confirmed in writing via email. any additional work or changes outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately and require written approval from the client.

timeline & deliverables

project timelines are estimates and depend on timely client feedback and material delivery. designer is not responsible for delays caused by late responses, incomplete content, or change requests.

fees & payment terms

client agrees to pay designer the total project fee or at an hourly rate as detailed in the proposal or invoice.

client agrees to pay a 50% deposit upfront, before work begins. unless otherwise agreed upon, the designer will not start work for the project until the 50% deposit has been made.

once the project is completed, client agrees to pay the remaining balance within 30 days of final invoice date. payments made one week overdue incur a 10% late fee, payments made two weeks overdue incur a 20% late fee, and so on.

all payments are non-refundable; 50% deposit is non-refundable once work begins on project. remaining balance is non-refundable once final deliverables are approved.

revisions

projects include 2 rounds of revisions per deliverable. additional revisions beyond this will be billed at $50.00 per hour.

ownership & usage rights

upon full payment, client receives the rights to use the final approved deliverables for their intended purpose. designer retains ownership of original artwork, working files, and intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. designer may display completed work in portfolios and marketing materials.

client responsibility

client agrees to provide all necessary materials (text, images, brand assets, logins, etc.) in a timely manner, and to review and approve deliverables promptly to maintain the project schedule.

termination

either party may end this agreement with written notice. if the client cancels before completion, the client agrees to pay for all work completed up to that date. deposits are non-refundable.
